Château
Petit Val
Saint-Emilion Grand Cru.
Château Petit Val’s rich range of wines comes from the diversity and symbiosis of its different plots. The estate’s perfectly balanced 12 hectares (30 acres) of sandy clay and clayey limestone soils are what gives Château Petit Val wines their unique personality.
In this nectar, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are dominant and completed by the Petit Verdot grape. It displays black fruit and spicy aromas and a silky mouthfeel. The wine is well-balanced, supple and fresh.

Margo
la cuvée de coeur
This wine came about through a gesture of solidarity towards Margo, a young girl in remission who Jean-Louis and Olivia Alloin, the owners of Château Petit Val, have sponsored and followed since 2016. This “cuvée de coeur” is produced every year to serve a charitable purpose. Limited to just 800 bottles, this monovarietal Cabernet Franc is aged exclusively in amphorae without the addition of sulphites.
« A remarkable wine combining notes of flowers and fruit, such as strawberries, and displaying a never-ending length of flavour on the palate. »
« Juicy, fresh fruit character on the palate. The tannins are well integrated, while the aromatic expression is underpinned by the wine’s structure. A well-balanced, elegant wine to be enjoyed in its first years. Now to 2024. »

Rose
du Val
A PRESSED ROSÉ WITH A LOVELY PALE ROBE.
Subtle and feminine, this wine is made like the great rosés from Provence. However, it retains its Bordeaux length and roundness. Its robe is like a pink summer veil that is bright and transparent. The nose is a superb mix of floral and fruit aromas. It is like velvet on the palate with fruit paste and quince flavours and a floral bouquet on the finish.

Orfevre
du VaL
This wine, a Saint-Emilion interpretation of Riesling and a nod to Olivia Alloin’s Alsace origins, is sourced from the great Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation terroirs. The échalas-trained vines are planted on three plots of 10 ares (a quarter of an acre) made up of clay and limestone, stretching from the foot of the Saint-Emilion slopes across a superb terrace.
Orfèvre du Val, a unique white wine vinified with the savoir-faire of a master craftsman, offers a magical tasting experience with extremely refreshing aromas of white flowers and fruits.

Valentina
Valentina is produced from a rigorous selection of the finest Malbec vines.
This plot of vines, overgrafted in 2016, is located on the finest clay-sand terroirs of Château Petit Val in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. It is vinified in amphorae, barrels and in ‘wineglobes’ (small glass vats), to preserve fruit character and give enhanced aromatic complexity.
Jean-Louis and Olivia Alloin have dedicated this 100% Malbec cuvée, which is both elegant and generous, and reveals a subtle mix of violets and spices, to Valentina, David Liorit’s daughter.

Miel
du Val
Hives that produce a unique nectar
To increase biodiversity at the estate, bee hives were installed, so Château Petit Val produces honey (miel). The first harvest of acacia honey will take place in spring and the second will happen at the end of the summer and should continue for several months, collecting the honey from different flowers that bloom at various times.
