The 2020 vintage benefited throughout the year from a rather warm climate with heavy rainfall in autumn 2019 and spring 2020. This spring was hot and humid, which made us fear the dreaded mildew.
A presence at all times combined with good technical skills and intense work in the vines allowed us to escape it.
Bud burst and flowering were early, but the summer heat wave caused some of the progress of the vintage to be lost. Thanks to our soils and our working techniques, our vines have been able to resist the summer drought well. The harvest was very good, healthy and we have yields around 40 hl/ha.
It is a very good vintage with a quality tannic potential and a beautiful aromatic richness!
